What is True Sidereal Astrology?

There are many different types of Astrology and various systems used within those types.

Tropical astrology does not use the actual position of stars or constellations as relevant points but instead uses the vernal equinox, around 21 March to signify the beginning of Aries.

At Ethereal Gramma, we are passionate advocates for True Sidereal and the use of star-based astrology in the visible sky for Astrological forecasting, "As above, so below".

The Tropical zodiac has sliced the signs into 12 nice little neat sections, all comprising of the same allocated 30 degrees; however, the true division of signs, some larger and some smaller, is more likely to represent the distribution of the qualities and characteristics observed in people in our everyday lives.

It is said that in Astrology the Sun is one of the fundamental building blocks of your Ego personality, your sense of identity and the conscious mind.

It seems quite unrealistic to assume that these qualities and personalities have been evenly distributed amongst such a rich and diverse population.

The Sun spends around 44 days in the constellation of Virgo and 37 days in that of Pisces.

Using the true size of constellations it could be said that it is more common to see Ego driven characteristics of A Pisces or Virgo nature in people.

It would also mean it is much rarer to see those deep, intense traits of Scorpio, where the sun spends only 6-7 days.
